The fat lady actually sang!!

Well....it finally happened.....the end of an era....

6:00 am Sunday August 24th.....


The sign came down....

The fence went up....

The last baby was born...

and the hospital was closed....

Now its time to move on..... to bigger and better.....sigh....

Its the final countdown....

Its almost time.....

When we started this countdown on our whiteboard, it was 100 days to go....

now its down to 7!

I have walked and worked in these cramped, dark, dingy halls on and off for 22 years....

We have made do with sub-par conditions for a very long time....

Gabi wanted me to take a picture of the room she was born in before it is gone!

We started writing on this wall to commemorate what once was, and to say goodbye.

Its the final countdown to an exciting, scary, amazing, beautiful new hospital!
