The conclusion of our Oregon vacation....

OK....
After the bigtime guilt-trip from my sister-in-law, I finally found the time to finish blogging about our vacation in August. I know....its November...but here goes.....

On the Thursday before we had to leave for home, we drove down to Florence to check out the sand dunes. The first picture is right above the sea lion caves. We didn't go in though because there were no sea lions actually in the cave that day! So, we continued on , and, thanks to my sister's suggestion, we found a place called Honeyman's Park (at least that's what I think its called). Anyways, its a lake surrounded by sand dunes. Very cool.




Brendan rolled down the dune and into the lake. He was finding sand in strange places for days to come!





Back to the condo....these are the stairs that we went down, and then back up several times a day to get to the beach. I am sure that if we actually lived here, I would be in fabulous shape!



Sigh..... just wanted to put a few more beautiful beach shots in.... I am missing it very much!




And of course, the sunset.....


We are already thinking ahead to next summer....can't wait to go back!!!!
